Mobile Automated Guided Robot for Pick and Place Applications

Robots play a crucial role in the manufacturing and process sectors in the current scientific landscape. The prohibitive installation costs substantial maintenance issues the need for a skilled operator to oversee and manage its operations and the indispensable role of robots in several sectors deter many from adopting them. The EIErobo robot was constructed using infrared sensors and an IC555 running in a steady mode. This robot is capable of doing linear operations. This adaptable pick-and-place robot may be used in several industries. Furthermore the research conducted using MATLAB revealed that EIE ROBO exhibited superior efficiency compared to its predecessor. Similarly it was shown to have a reduced cost of installation in comparison.
