A refinement of the Particle Swarm Optimisation model for predicting macromolecular structures
Author(s): Rocky Joseph

Abstract
This work introduces a novel optimisation technique called FM_PSO which integrates particle swarm optimisation with a filter method. In order to maximise the effectiveness of the first stage FM_PSO employs a filter technique that has the ability to broaden the criteria for accepting iterations. Simultaneously the split-and-conquer method is being analysed as a means to expedite the rate of convergence. FM PSO may improve both exploration and exploitation capacities even after doing optimisation on a large scale. According to the numerical testing findings FM_PSO is the most effective approach for the macromolecular structure prediction model and the test function.
