An Evaluation of Polymer Composites Strengthened with Natural Fibres
Author(s): Bikramjeet Singh

Abstract
Polymer composites reinforced with natural fibres have emerged as a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional synthetic fibre-reinforced composites. The use of natural fibres such as jute sisal flax hemp and coir offers advantages including biodegradability renewability low density and reduced environmental impact making them particularly relevant for applications in automotive construction aerospace and consumer goods industries. This study evaluates the mechanical thermal and chemical properties of polymer composites strengthened with natural fibres examining their performance durability and potential for industrial adoption.
