Abstract
This research investigates the efficacy of social media as a tool in the recruitment process. This investigation examines the impact of social media on recruiting results in comparison to conventional techniques considering the increasing significance of digital platforms in job searches. The study used a mixed-methods approach including quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with HR experts and job searchers to evaluate criteria such as applicant quality recruitment speed and cost-effectiveness. The results indicate that social media has significant benefits in terms of accessing a wider and more varied pool of talent however its efficacy differs depending on the sector and level of the post. The research emphasizes effective methods for using social media in recruiting and offers suggestions for optimizing social media techniques to improve recruitment procedures. This study enhances our comprehension of the changing employment environment and provides valuable information for organisations seeking to enhance their hiring procedures using social media.
