An examination of the prospective multinational corporations that Greece may recruit.
Author(s): Kunal SharmaAbstract
This research aims to provide a theoretical evaluation of the multinational firms that Greece may possibly attract. This conclusion was inspired by Greeces persistently low levels of foreign direct investment (FDI) during the last two decades. To accomplish this objective I conduct a thorough examination of the literature on multinational corporations (MNCs) and ultimately choose a two-type organisational framework for MNCs which consists of vertical and horizontal production structures. After doing extensive study I have formulated many hypotheses on the kind of multinational firms that Greece may possibly attract. The findings indicate that the Greek government needs to modify its strategy in order to allure high-value foreign direct investment.
