Climate change presents a substantial danger to agricultural systems on a global scale with severe consequences for both food security and the welfare of rural communities. India a nation heavily reliant on agriculture has especially severe consequences from climate change. This study examines the many challenges and obstacles encountered by Indian agriculture in the context of a changing climate. The study investigates the impacts of rising temperatures changing rainfall patterns and severe weather events on agricultural productivity soil condition and water supplies. The report also addresses the difficulties of modifying agricultural techniques to alleviate these effects while also pursuing sustainability. Key concerns include the susceptibility of small-scale farmers restricted availability of adaptive technology and the need for comprehensive regulations and support systems. The study examines existing research and case studies to emphasise the difficulties and possible approaches to promote sustainable agriculture in India in the face of changing climatic conditions.
