Author(s): Dr. Ram Avtar Sharma

Abstract
This research looks at the differences in stress burnout and general psychological health among teachers working in public and private schools. We polled 500 educators from both fields and interviewed some of them in detail using a mixed-methods strategy. Our research shows that there are notable disparities in the mental health outcomes experienced by teachers working in public and private schools. Specifically instructors working in public schools report much greater rates of stress and burnout. The availability of resources administrative support and student demographics are some of the factors that contribute to these inequities. Findings from this study stress the need of tackling systemic problems impacting teachers well-being and the necessity for focused initiatives to enhance mental health assistance in public schools.
