Design and Analysis of the User Interface for an Innovative Web-Based Collaborative Remote Embedded Application
Author(s): Geeta KashyapAbstract
The rapid transformation of digital technologies coupled with the increasing need for distributed engineering solutions has given rise to web-based collaborative platforms that allow remote interaction with embedded systems. As embedded devices become more deeply integrated into industrial automation healthcare transportation robotics smart infrastructure and environmental monitoring the ability to access monitor program and control such systems remotely has become not only beneficial but essential. Central to these capabilities is the user interface (UI) which serves as the bridge between human operators and complex embedded functionalities. Designing an intuitive responsive and fault-tolerant user interface requires an understanding of human–computer interaction (HCI) web technologies communication protocols embedded system constraints and collaborative workflows.
