Domestic violence against women and its repercussions

Domestic violence which refers to violence against women in the home is a widespread problem that has an impact on people and society globally. This kind of violence includes physical mental sexual and economic mistreatment carried out by intimate partners or other members of the family. This abstract examines the complex and diverse aspects of domestic violence including its underlying factors and extensive repercussions. This study analyses the influence of cultural norms gender inequality and power dynamics on the continuation of domestic violence. The study examines the immediate and long-term consequences of domestic abuse on victims including physical harm mental health conditions and socio-economic difficulties. Furthermore it explores the wider ramifications for society including escalated healthcare expenditures and the burden on social welfare systems. The report highlights the need of implementing all-encompassing measures including as legislative overhauls survivor support networks and educational initiatives targeting social mindset shifts. To effectively combat domestic abuse it is essential to adopt a cooperative strategy including politicians community organisations and people. This collective effort aims to provide safer and fairer conditions for women.
