With its increasing importance in politics economics science and culture throughout the globe English has quickly become the de facto worldwide language of communication. Historical events like American imperialism and British colonisation contributed to its broad usage. Nowadays English is widely used as a common language for communicating and working across different cultures. Because of its extensive vocabulary versatility and widespread use in digital media and multinational organisations it has become an indispensable tool for communication on a worldwide scale. This study delves into the causes of Englishs dominance how it has affected international communication and the possibilities and threats that non-native speakers face as a result.
