EVALUATING THE COMPARATIVE EFFECTIVENESS OF SERVICE QUALITY FACTORS IMPACTING THE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN INDIA

The quality of higher education in India is influenced by a complex interplay of service quality factors that determine academic excellence student satisfaction institutional performance and overall educational outcomes. With the rapid expansion of higher education institutions and increasing diversity in programs it has become imperative to evaluate the effectiveness of service quality determinants in shaping educational standards. Service quality encompasses academic delivery administrative processes faculty competence infrastructure student support services and industry linkage all of which contribute to the perceived and measurable quality of higher education. This research systematically investigates the comparative effectiveness of service quality factors in Indian higher education using a combination of empirical analytical and evaluative methodologies. By integrating recent studies (2021 onwards) surveys and institutional data the study examines the relative impact of critical dimensions including academic competence faculty engagement technological integration library and research facilities administrative responsiveness and extra-curricular support on student satisfaction and learning outcomes. The analysis emphasizes both quantitative and qualitative measures highlighting the nuanced interplay between institutional capabilities and student expectations.
