Mahatma Gandhi and B.R. Ambedkar two monumental figures in Indian history pursued social reform through fundamentally divergent philosophies strategies and objectives yet both significantly shaped the trajectory of modern India. This research investigates the contrasts between Gandhian and Ambedkarite approaches to social reform examining their ethical philosophical political and practical dimensions and evaluates their continuing influence on contemporary Indian society governance and social policy.
