Global Perception of Muslim Identity

Abstract
This research investigates the worldwide concept of Muslim identity analysing how it is influenced by cultural political and media factors. The study used a mixed-methods approach including qualitative interviews surveys and content analysis of media portrayals to examine the elements that influence the formation of Muslim identity in various circumstances. The findings indicate substantial differences in attitudes across various locations particularly in the way Muslims identify themselves compared to how they are portrayed by non-Muslim populations. The research emphasises the influence of geopolitical events historical settings and media narratives on the formation of these opinions. In addition it examines the consequences of these perspectives on societal unity connections between different religious beliefs and the formulation of policies. The project seeks to get a deeper knowledge of how global conceptions of Muslim identity might be more nuanced and to suggest tactics for promoting more precise and compassionate understandings.
