Mental Health and Stigma among Urban Youth in India

Mental health has emerged as one of the most pressing public health concerns in contemporary India particularly among urban youth. Rapid urbanization academic and professional pressures lifestyle changes and social media exposure have contributed to rising incidences of anxiety depression and stress-related disorders. Despite growing awareness stigma continues to surround mental health discouraging young people from seeking professional help and perpetuating cycles of silence and suffering.
