Mental Health Challenges Faced by Men in the Workplace

Abstract
Workplace mental health has increasingly become a topic of concern yet the specific challenges faced by men in professional environments often remain overlooked. Societal expectations of masculinity workplace competition and stigma around emotional vulnerability contribute to the growing mental health crisis among men. Many suffer in silence due to fear of being perceived as weak leading to stress anxiety depression and burnout. This paper explores the mental health challenges that men encounter in workplaces examining factors such as toxic masculinity job insecurity work-life imbalance and the lack of mental health support systems. By analyzing sociological theories workplace policies and real-world case studies this research aims to shed light on the need for gender-sensitive mental health interventions in professional settings.
