Abstract
Rising internet penetration cellphone use and digital payment methods have all contributed to the explosive expansion and radical change of Indias e-commerce scene in the last decade. Highlighting its development important participants and market dynamics this article investigates the present status of e-commerce in India. It looks at how reforms in policy making innovations in technology and shifting customer preferences have affected the industry. Concerns about cyber security infrastructure constraints and regulatory impediments are all included in the report. This article examines the state of online shopping in India and how it can contribute to the countrys economic development and technological advancement in the future.
