RESEARCH ON THE LINK BETWEEN MANAGERS EQ AND STAFF SATISFACTION

Abstract
The success and sustainability of organizations largely depend on the emotional climate fostered by managerial leadership. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) of managers — their ability to recognize understand regulate their own emotions and perceive and respond to employees’ emotions — significantly influences team dynamics trust morale and overall job satisfaction. This research explores the relationship between managers’ EQ and staff satisfaction in organizational settings. By employing quantitative survey-based methodology and validated psychometric instruments this study examines how variations in managers’ EQ levels correlate with employees’ reported job satisfaction organizational commitment perceived support and work motivation. The analysis incorporates demographic variables organizational context and mediating factors such as communication quality and perceived supervisor support. The findings aim to provide evidence-based insights about the role of managerial emotional intelligence in enhancing staff well‑being performance retention and overall organizational climate.
