Sexual Harassment and Workplace Policies: A Gender Justice Perspective
Author(s): Yuvraj Kapor

Abstract
This paper presents a critical examination of sexual harassment as a systemic barrier to achieving gender justice in professional settings. Through an interdisciplinary lens combining feminist legal theory organizational studies and social psychology the study analyzes the effectiveness of existing workplace policies in addressing this pervasive issue. The research draws on comparative case studies from North America Europe and South Asia evaluating policy frameworks developed in response to the global #MeToo movement. Findings indicate significant gaps between policy formulation and implementation particularly regarding intersectional vulnerabilities and power dynamics in organizational structures. The analysis culminates in proposing a transformative approach to workplace safety that centers survivor experiences and challenges institutional complicity in perpetuating harassment cultures.
