Social protection is guaranteed to informal labourers in India.

Abstract
Street sellers domestic help and construction workers are just a few examples of the many types of informal workers who make up a significant chunk of Indias workforce. Despite the value they provide to the economy these workers are at increased risk of exploitation financial instability and poor health since they do not have access to social safety systems. This article takes a look at the social safety net that Indias informal labourers are now enjoying analyzing the many programs and laws put in place to ensure their financial stability access to healthcare and other advantages. It delves into the coverage accessibility and sufficiency difficulties that have plagued these programs implementation among other gaps and obstacles. This study reviews policy frameworks and field research to show how important it is to have a social protection system that is both inclusive and strong. To improve the economic security and general welfare of informal workers we propose reforms to strengthen social safety nets and guarantee them equal protection.
