Abstract
The steel industry in India represents a critical segment of industrial and infrastructural development directly influencing construction manufacturing and economic growth. Within this sector customer purchasing decisions are influenced not only by intrinsic product characteristics such as quality durability and pricing but also by dynamic market conditions encompassing supply-demand fluctuations pricing volatility competitor strategies and macroeconomic indicators. This study focuses on the impact of market conditions on the purchasing choices of customers for steel goods in Tamil Nadu a state known for its industrial base infrastructural expansion and diverse customer segments including construction companies manufacturers and individual buyers.
