The Impact of Work from Home on Family Life and Work–Life Balance

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically reshaped global work patterns pushing millions of employees into remote work arrangements. Work from home (WFH) once considered an occasional privilege became a dominant mode of employment for large sections of the workforce. In India too IT professionals service sector employees teachers and corporate workers adopted remote work models. While WFH offered flexibility reduced commuting and opportunities for family bonding it also blurred boundaries between professional and personal life often intensifying stress conflicts and burnout.
