Although there has been substantial development in recent years this market has not yet achieved its maximum potential owing to many systemic and structural obstacles. This article examines the present condition of the industrial debt market in India scrutinising important variables such as legislative limitations market inefficiencies and the restricted involvement of institutional investors. It further analyses the effects of these obstacles on the general economic expansion and industrial funding.
