Abstract
Domestic violence remains a pervasive social issue worldwide disproportionately affecting women and undermining their fundamental human rights. The intersection of human rights and women’s rights provides a critical framework for understanding and addressing domestic violence emphasizing the protection of bodily autonomy dignity equality and freedom from discrimination. Despite international conventions and national legislation domestic violence persists often perpetuated by patriarchal norms social stigma and inadequate legal enforcement. This study explores the intersectional framework of human rights and women’s rights in combating domestic violence examining legal instruments policy interventions societal challenges and advocacy efforts that aim to protect and empower survivors.
