Abstract
Bal Gangadhar Tilak one of the foremost leaders of India’s nationalist movement during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries significantly influenced the shaping of Indian political consciousness and the development of a cohesive national identity. This study explores Tilak’s contributions to nationalism mass mobilization and cultural revivalism highlighting the philosophical ethical and strategic dimensions of his political thought and activism. Tilak’s efforts combined assertive political engagement cultural symbolism and moral persuasion to forge a collective identity among India’s diverse social and regional communities.
