Abstract
Holistic education emphasizes the development of the whole person including intellectual emotional social and spiritual dimensions. In the context of adolescents this approach plays a crucial role in fostering emotional intelligence (EI) which includes self-awareness empathy self-regulation and interpersonal skills. Adolescence is a critical period for emotional and psychological development and traditional education models often neglect emotional growth. Holistic education addresses this gap by integrating emotional learning with academic curricula promoting mindfulness emotional literacy and interpersonal communication. Research indicates that adolescents with higher emotional intelligence are better equipped to navigate complex social environments manage stress and build positive relationships. Holistic educational practices such as experiential learning meditation and collaborative projects enhance students emotional resilience and empathy. These skills not only contribute to personal well-being but also improve academic performance and long-term success in personal and professional domains.
