Entrepreneurship has become a central driver of innovation economic growth and job creation in contemporary India. With the rise of the start-up ecosystem India has emerged as one of the world’s leading hubs for entrepreneurial activity. Women entrepreneurs are increasingly visible in this landscape leading ventures across sectors such as technology education healthcare fashion and e-commerce. However despite policy support changing social attitudes and new funding opportunities women continue to face structural and cultural barriers that limit their full participation in the start-up ecosystem.
