Women Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Ecosystem in Emerging Economies

Abstract
This research paper examines the growth of women entrepreneurship and its contribution to the start-up ecosystem in emerging economies with a particular focus on the post-2018 to 2025 period. Women entrepreneurs have increasingly become vital players in innovation economic development and job creation especially in regions where traditional gender roles and institutional barriers have historically restricted their participation in business. The study analyzes how government policies digital transformation access to finance and socio-cultural changes have enabled women to enter and flourish in entrepreneurial spaces. It also critically reviews the challenges that persist such as gender bias lack of mentorship funding gaps and infrastructural inequalities. Drawing upon case studies policy frameworks and scholarly research the paper concludes that women entrepreneurs are reshaping emerging economies but sustainable growth will require inclusive policies systemic reforms and continuous support structures that address both economic and cultural barriers.
