Physical education (PE) plays a crucial role in promoting health well-being and holistic development yet women’s participation and perspectives in this domain have historically been underexplored and underrepresented. Societal norms gender expectations cultural beliefs and institutional policies significantly influence women’s attitudes motivations and engagement in physical education across educational and professional settings. This research paper examines women’s perspectives on physical education aiming to identify barriers facilitators and attitudes that shape participation patterns. The study integrates qualitative and quantitative approaches using surveys interviews and observational data to capture comprehensive insights into women’s experiences with PE curricula fitness programs and extracurricular activities. Particular attention is paid to factors such as self-efficacy body image social support gender bias and accessibility of facilities. By analyzing these elements the research seeks to inform policy recommendations pedagogical strategies and program designs that can enhance women’s engagement and satisfaction with physical education. The study further explores how cultural socioeconomic and educational contexts influence women’s perspectives highlighting the need for inclusive adaptive and gender-sensitive physical education frameworks.
