Author(s): Mr. Suresh khanna

Abstract
This paper explores the rise of the work-from-home (WFH) culture and its impact on family dynamics in the post-COVID era with particular focus on the period up to 2025. The global pandemic accelerated the adoption of remote work fundamentally reshaping the boundaries between professional and personal life. While WFH has offered flexibility reduced commuting stress and increased opportunities for family interaction it has also blurred the lines between work and home leading to new challenges in family relationships mental health and household responsibilities. This study analyzes how WFH culture has transformed family roles gender relations parent-child interactions and intergenerational bonds. It further examines the social and psychological implications of WFH drawing on case studies surveys and recent research. The paper argues that while WFH has created opportunities for greater family cohesion its long-term sustainability depends on balancing productivity with emotional well-being and equitable sharing of responsibilities within households.
